Pick up these Alma Paprika pepper seeds if you desire a sweet and slightly smoky flavor with just a mild heat. The plump round fruit starts out a creme color. As these juicy peppers mature, they’ll turn orange and finally red resembling a tomato. This pepper is thick-walled and Pimento shaped. If you’re interested in dehydrating these peppers, we’d recommend cutting them into small pieces to expedite the drying time. The thick walls of the Alma Paprika pepper are very juicy and will take a bit longer to dry than thin-walled chilis like the Cayenne Long Slim. Ensure the pepper pieces are thoroughly dry before attempting to grind them into powder. You’ll know that they are dry enough when the piece snap instead of bending when flexied.
