Tabasco Pepper Seeds

Primarily used in sauces mixed with salt and vinegar such as the common Louisiana style hot sauces. Plants grown from these Tabasco pepper seeds produce large amounts of fruit just over an inch in size that point upward. These plants can easily reach over 48″ tall in a short growing season. Not only are these peppers very tasty but as the small 1.5″ chilis start to ripen the plant looks very ornamental. When you cut open these peppers, you’ll notice that distinct smell of Tabasco sauce. Peppers ripen from green to yellow then orange, and finally red. Best used in any stage of ripening other than green.
