Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Seeds
Minimum 15 seeds per pack
If you’re interested in growing one of the hottest peppers in the world then pick up these Trinidad Scorpion pepper seeds (Moruga). Although the current record holder is the Carolina Reaper, the heat from this Trinidad Moruga Scorpion pepper is no joke. The flavor profile is fruity and floral with heat that builds shortly after eating. The sturdy plants will easily achieve 48″ in height and a fairly heavy producer once mature. Plants grow tall but usually don’t require staking. Expect many branches without needing to prune the plants. Peppers average about 1.5″ in length and width. They are slightly lobed with pimply skin. Fruit ripens from green to bright red. Allow the pods to get bright red before harvesting for the most heat and best flavor. Whether you want to make a fiery hot sauce or dried seasoning powder these Trinidad Scorpion pepper seeds will help you bring the heat.

Starting Trinidad Scorpion Pepper Seeds
Unless you live in a climate that is warm year-round, starting pepper seeds indoors is recommended. Plant at a depth of 1/4″ in sterile, moist seed starting mix. Place the sown seeds in a warm area, over 75F, for the best germination rate. The use of a humidity dome over the sown seeds will ensure they don’t dry out before germination occurs. Once the seedlings break the surface of the soil be sure to provide a bright source of light to ensure they don’t stretch and become “leggy”. Light coming in a window is rarely sufficient for proper growth. Even a south facing window is usually not enough. Providing light from a fluorescent or LED fixture over the top of your sprouts will ensure proper growth.
