Big Jim Pepper Seeds

Big Jim Pepper Seeds, the perfect addition to any pepper enthusiast’s garden. These seeds will produce peppers that are not only large in size but also boast an excellent flavor profile. Whether you’re looking to add a kick to your culinary creations or simply want to grow a unique and attractive pepper plant, Big Jim Pepper Seeds are an excellent choice.

SHU

Big Jim Peppers are known for their mild heat profile, with a Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) range of 500 to 2,500. This makes them an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy the flavor of peppers without the intense spiciness. Their mild heat also makes them ideal for use in recipes that call for a pepper flavor without overwhelming the other ingredients.

Mature Height

Big Jim Pepper plants are relatively large, typically reaching a mature height of 2 to 3 feet tall. They are also quite bushy, which means they may require some support as they grow to prevent them from falling over. However, their size doesn’t compromise their productivity, as they will produce a generous number of peppers throughout the growing season.

Day to Maturity

Big Jim Pepper Seeds have a relatively long growing period, with plants taking approximately 70 to 80 days from germination to maturity. This means you’ll need to plan accordingly and be patient as you wait for your peppers to reach full maturity. However, their size and flavor profile make them well worth the wait.

Fruit Size

As their name suggests, Big Jim Peppers are known for their large size. These elongated peppers can reach up to 12 inches in length and 2 inches in width, making them one of the larger pepper varieties available. Their size also makes them an excellent choice for stuffing, grilling, or roasting.

Fruit Color

Big Jim Peppers start out green and then transition to a vibrant red color when fully ripe. This visual change adds an attractive element to your garden or container setup, making them as pleasing to the eye as they are to the taste buds. You’ll find that the red color is not only beautiful but also indicates when the peppers are ready for harvest.

Summary

Big Jim Pepper Seeds are an excellent choice for anyone who wants to enjoy the flavor of peppers without the intense heat. These seeds produce large, elongated peppers that are perfect for stuffing, grilling, or roasting, and their mild heat profile makes them versatile enough to use in a variety of recipes. With their impressive size and vibrant color, Big Jim Peppers are sure to make an attractive addition to any garden or container setup.

Love the huge peppers. Wish the plants were more productive, each plant grew about 10-12 peppers. I’ll grow them again next year but plant more of them.
